Brain

    Brain

The brain controls the nervous system. The brain functions include emotion, thought, memory, speech, sensory integration and reception, coordination and muscle control. The human brain has billions of nerve cells called neurons which are connected to more neurons though synapses. There are three main parts to the brain: the brain stem, which is connected to the spinal cord and controls heartbeat, breathing and digestion; the cerebellum, which controls coordination and balance; and the cerebrum, which controls senses including touch, vision and hearing.
    Heart

The heart is the organ that keeps the blood flowing through the body's blood vessels and arteries with rhythmic and repeated contractions. The upper two chambers in the heart are the right and left atria, and the lower two chambers of the heart are the right and left ventricles. The left and right sides of the heart are divided by the septum. The human heart has four valves that regulate blood flow. The tricuspid controls the blood flow between the right ventricle and right atrium and the pulmonary valve controls the blood flow from the right ventricle to the pulmonary arteries, which in turn carry the blood to the lungs for oxygenation. The mitral valve carries oxygen-rich blood from the lungs to the left ventricle and left atrium. The aortic valve is the largest artery that delivers blood to the entire body.
    Lungs

Located in the chest cavity, the lungs provide oxygen to the blood stream when air is inhaled and exhales carbon dioxide. After the blood is oxygenated, it is returned to the heart via the pulmonary vein. The right and left sides of the lung have the anterior lobe, medial lobe and posterior lobe. The right side has the accessory lobe, which is very small and associated with the right-side posterior lobe.
    Kidneys

The kidneys maintain the chemical balance in the body by excreting excess fluid and waste products in the form of urine. The human body can survive with one kidney, but when one or both kidneys are not functioning correctly, dialysis is needed to artificially simulate kidney functions in ridding the body of fluid and waste removal.
    Liver

The liver maintains a proper level of glucose in the blood, filters harmful substances, produces urea and breaks down fats in the body. The basic function of the liver is to keep the composition of the blood the same as it needs to be in a healthy person.

dual-core and quad-core

What is the difference between dual-core and quad-core processor in terms of performance?
A multi-core chip can execute multiple instructions at the same time.
Dual cores have two cores, and quad cores have four. All the cores are on the same chip though. So, they share the same memory, and data path to the motherboard.
So, a quad core chip may be able to execute the instructions four times faster, but that doesn’t mean it can receive instructions from ram four times faster.
Also, the faster a CPU is, the hotter it gets. Just because the CPU is a quad core doesn't mean it was set to run at the same gigahertz.
Consider a manufacturer that wants to sell a 4 gigahertz chip, but the core keeps melting. One could sell a Quad core chip with each core set to 1 or 2 gigahertz and get increased performance, but still be running each core much slower. Therefore the chip no longer melts.
Software has to be rewritten to take full advantage of multi-core processors. The operating system might provide a small automatic increase in speed, but you won’t see a 4X increase in performance simply by switching to a quad core.
Even if the software is rewritten it might not be 2X, or 4X faster because now the program may have additional instructions added for the sake of figuring out which core is going to access each part of the program.
I'm a big fan of dual-core systems. I think there's a clear and substantial benefit for all computer users when there are two CPUs waiting to service requests, instead of just one. If nothing else,
it lets you gracefully terminate an application that has gone haywire, consuming all available CPU time. It's like having a backup CPU in reserve, waiting to jump in and assist as necessary. But for most software, you hit a point of diminishing returns very rapidly after two cores.
In Quad-Core Desktops and Diminishing Returns,
I questioned how effectively today's software can really use even four CPU cores, much less the inevitable eight and sixteen CPU cores we'll see a few years from now.
To get a sense of what kind of performance improvement we can expect going from 2 to 4 CPU cores, let's focus on the Core 2 Duo E6600 and Core 2 Quad Q6600 processors. These 2.4 GHz CPUs are identical in every respect, except for the number of cores they bring to the table.
In a recent review, Scott Wasson at the always-thorough Tech Report presented a slew of benchmarks that included both of these processors. Here's a quick visual summary of how much you can expect performance to improve when upgrading from 2 to 4 CPU cores

SERVICE TAX At Restaurants - VERY IMPORTANT !!!

Must Read full :- If we cant change system, at least we should change our self

SERVICE TAX At Restaurants - VERY IMPORTANT !!!
Interesting.
I find restaurant bills often so confusing,
...
I just give up and pay the amount shown n the bottom line.

Perhaps we shouldn't.

Incidentally, I also resent the inclusion of Service Charges in
restaurant bills, because it assumes that I was satisfied with the
service. Just a matter of principle. Service Charge should be
something I leave behind at my personal discretion.
I recently demanded that the service charge be removed as the service was non-existent. After a short - very short! - discussion, it was removed. About Service Tax..... Be aware

This happened at the restaurant.

Let me explain.

We had been to several restaurants recently. I observed that "service
tax" was being misused in the way it was being charged to customers.

Let me give an example.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Food and Beverage = Rs. 1000.00

Service Charges @ 10% = Rs. 100.00

Service Tax @ 4.94% = Rs. 54.34 (on F&B + Service Charges)

VAT @14.5% = Rs. 145.00

Total = Rs. 1299.34

As per the definition - "Service Tax can be charged ONLY for the

services provided to the customer".

Now, see what is happening here in the above example.

Service Tax should be charged only on the Service Charge amount i.e
Rs.100 ONLY, and NOT on the entire amount (1000+100).

In this example, the customer should be charged only Rs 4.94, whereas
he has been charged Rs. 49.00 extra.

Where does this money go?
Only the restaurant owner and the chartered accountants who work for them know.

· So, I have started asking them the questions - and am
surprised to see the reaction from famous restaurants. Either they
say: "Sir we cannot change the format of the bill - so , we will
recalculate and tell you the revised amount. You may pay only that."

OR

· "Sir, you do not need to pay the Service Tax amount itself"!!

I now have 3 to 4 restaurant bills, but for which I have paid only the
service tax on the service charge and NOT on the total amount.

Every bill MUST carry the TIN number and Service Tax Number, if they
charge it. So . . . , I ask for the Service tax number if it is not
available in the receipt that they provide.

As we cannot go to any government official and ask them to get this
right - because of our system.

Please remember - we cannot change any political leader - but we can
change ourselves.

If we change ourselves - things will change.

Please do share this with every one of your friends and known people.

Ask for the right tax calculation
and
Pay only the tax which is supposed to be paid.

Verify every bill and receipt that you make payment on.

"Please share if you think its worth"
